Cutting-Edge Legal Research on Outer Space Since 1973

The Center for Air and Space Law and the University of Mississippi School of Law have been at the forefront of space law since the 1970s. We’re proud to publish the Journal of Space Law, our Center’s flagship publication and a world-renowned journal on outer space. Founded by Professor Stephen Gorove, our Journal has featured articles from pioneers in space law including: Eilene Galloway, Myres McDougal, Bin Cheng, Francis Lyall, and countless others.

Today, under the leadership of the Center’s Executive Director and Professor Michelle Hanlon, we continue to provide cutting-edge research on space law for the international community.
